Our first KOOKS Wild Food Outing - enjoying nature's gifts
Yesterday our first KOOKS Wild Food Outing took place. 21 of us enjoyed the Autumn beauty of Knocksink Woods in Enniskerry, Co Wicklow where we convened to gather the first of the season's edible (and not so edible) mushrooms and other wild and wonderful foods.
We were treated to a glimpse of the wealth of knowledge of our co-host - Dr Bill Schindler, who shared his fascinating insight. It was a privilege to enjoy this magical setting and to break bread with new and old friends.
We look forward to our next Forest Trail on Sunday November 5th when we will again be joined by Bill as we continue our appreciation of nature's gifts. Join us then.
